Converting Celsius (°C) to Fahrenheit (°F) and the other way around

Celsius is a scale where 0 °C (32 °F) is the temperature where water freezes and 100 °C (212 °F) is the temperature where water will boil.

The conversions between the two scales can be calculated using this formula:

T°F = 9/5 × T°C + 32

T°C = 5/9 × (T°F − 32)
